ladies and (potentially?) gentlemen, I have swatched. I spent a little quality time with each of my 180-some polishes and sampled all of them onto the color-grouped wheels. it was a really fun process! I ended up using sticky-tack and mounting them up on my wall in my nail-painting nook, as I like to call it. I store all of my polishes under the coffee table and sit right there on the floor and paint away! I ended up with this really interesting group of like nudes/peaches/pearls/sheers… very classy, French wheel if you ask me. I was also pretty excited when I realized I had enough teal-like shades that merited their own wheel considering I didn’t feel right putting them with either the blues or the the greens. also, have you every considered the dynamic nature of your brown polishes? I mean, I have my ‘regular’ browns, tans, bronzes, mahoganies, gray-browns… it’s probably my most diverse wheel! ended up kind of just looking like an autumn-pallet. also very cool though! okay, well I just wanted to share my little project with you all. hope you’re ready for your week! it totally just started snowing here in Iowa City… whomp.
